Having worked with girls at an advanced level in the UK and overseas, Coach Jamie, began to question the disparity of coaching available to girls at an entry level of football. A passion was ignited to provide higher quality coaching to more girls and a pathway to higher opportunities for girls in South London.

A periodized curriculum with academy phases across the age groups was designed, and continues to be reviewed and updated, to provide the academy players with deliberate progression. For those looking to advance their football, we also make connections with local professional clubs.

South London Girls Football Academy was born to provide more girls with the level of coaching and program that select players would typically receive. We now have centres to support girls football in Southwark, Lewisham and Bromley.
